Role & Responsibilities Overview

The role of Dealer Business Performance (DBP) Support Manager is to assist the Dealer Business Performance management team to strengthen the profitability of the Auto and Motorcycle Dealer networks across the European region. The DBP supports dealers and country offices (Branches) providing business information and analysis, as well as regular and ad-hoc reporting to Senior management in Europe and Worldwide.

The DBP Support Manager will collate and produce information and analysis that will help define the brand’s future strategic approach, as well as aid the local field managers prioritise activities to ensure Dealer performance is maintained and improved. In this role, the DBP Support Manager, will build on their current experience of the motor industry and gain a wide experience of Pan European Dealer activity and performance, in Automobiles, Motorcycles and Power Products, which will provide a strong foundation for future career development.

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

  • Experience of dealer operations and financial performance measurement
  • A good understanding of dealer financial composite reporting
  • Highly enthusiastic and self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and apply continuous improvement
  • Excellent PC skills in-particular Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to clearly communicate at different levels within the organization
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Logical thinker with a methodical approach and excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to travel within Europe

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Be the central point of contact for all business management activities from Branches, Car and MC divisions as well as the composite platform supplier
  • Work with the supplier to coordinate the production of monthly composite reports that provide data and information regarding the financial performance of our networks at dealer, national and Pan-European levels
  • Provide analysis and summaries of performance of networks to Senior Management
  • Work with Branch management to extend dealer composite to a greater number of dealers, and to improve data quality where already established
  • Work with composite supplier to ensure accurate and timely provision of reporting
  • Working with the KPI Improvement Manager:
  • To collate and produce high-quality reports and dashboards of activities and performance of Car and Motorcycle dealers from European markets to identify opportunities, set targets and track performance
  • To provide information and analysis to support Branch and Area Manager activity
  • To produce regular weekly and monthly management performance summary reports
  • To respond to ad-hoc requests for information from various sources, including Top Management in Europe and globally
  • Work with the systems suppliers to ensure consistent and reliable reporting is maintained
